Our Team

Georgie & Ozzy
'My name is Georgie and I am the Manager, Head Trainer and Behavioural Therapist at the K9 Hub. I currently own a crazy little Cairn Terrier called Ozzy.

My biggest passion in life is Dogs. In 2009, I launched the Pet Nanny, a Dog Walking and Pet Care Business in Leeds. In 2015, I realised there was a massive need for a professional Doggy Day Care Centre in Leeds and 11 years later we have cared for and trained hundreds of dogs.
I have over 20 years of experience of working with dogs in every capacity from training puppies to assessing stray and rescue dogs.
I have studied with the ADTB, IABTC and ISCP & IMDT. I have completed diplomas/courses/workshops/certificates in Instructing Pet Dog Owners, Aggression & Reactivity, Canine First Aid , Dog Law (with Trevor Cooper), T-Touch and Agility. I have attended seminars with some of the top dog behaviourists in the UK. I have also fostered, rehomed and worked alongside rescues helping dogs in need.

Every day, I feel blessed to work so closely with our four legged friends. I find nothing more satisfying and rewarding than working with a dog and their human!!'

Nicola & Meg
'My name is Nicola. I work as a Canine Carer and Trainer at the Hub.
After realising my love for dogs was much more than just a hobby. I set out to study and dedicate my working life to dogs. I have completed a Canine Care Diploma with the BCCS and have attended various training courses including training, instructing and aggression with IMDT. I have also completed my Canine First Aid and CPR certificate with Rachel Bean.

I have worked at the Hub for over 9 years and learn more every day at the Hub and can only say it is a total pleasure to look after all the dogs we have in our care. As an owner of a confident (and all be it biased opinion) beautiful Border Collie called Meg. I completely understand how much we all love our furry friends. Working alongside owners and their pooches everyday is so rewarding.

'My name is Kirsty and I am a Canine Carer and Head of Social Media at the Hub.

I grew up with lurchers and terriers but have a huge soft spot and love for bull dogs and bull breeds. After losing my two bulldogs Phoenix and Rufus, I rescued Ernie the Pomerarian and now also have a lovely bulldog called Bridget . I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with dogs with reactivity issues and difficult behaviours. I work closely with dogs at the centre who are nervous or have handling issues. I am also canine first aid trained.
I have worked at the Hub for over 6 years and enjoyed every minute. I love coming to work everyday and spending time with all the different dogs!'
