Our K9 Puppy Training are for dogs aged 8 weeks to 2 years old. Our 1-2-1 training sessions within your home will prepare you for dog ownership and give your puppy the life skills they need to be a happy balanced dog! All our training is modern based on up to date scientific research. We only use positive reinforcement techniques and practices.

Every puppy has a critical socialisation and habituation period. From the age of 8-16 weeks, it is important to positively introduce your pup to as many different dogs, people, animals, sights, sounds and environments as possible. During this period, the character, temperament and behaviour habits of your dog are developed. Our aim is to help you 'Bomb-Proof' your puppy!

From 6 months old onwards your puppy will enter their adolescence phase (in some dogs this can last until they are 2 years old!) and it can be like living with the dog version of a 'Teenager'. This period in a dog's life can be very testing and frustrating for owners but can be helped massively through training your dog. Our 1-2-1 sessions can be tailored around the age of your dog and any behaviours you might be struggling with.

So why is our K9 Puppy Training a better option than a class?

​

In our experience we find that when puppies (and more importantly their Owners!) are taught in a class environment they can be easily distracted and do not focus as well as they could do.

With our 1-2-1 Puppy Training sessions you can.....

​

1.) Achieve better quicker results - Owners and puppies are less distracted when in their home environment which helps hugely as puppies generally have very short attention spans.

2.) Tailor training to your needs - Every puppy is different and will vary in what they need help with. We can specifically cover anything you might be struggling with and work on those areas. If you are having problems with sleeping, toilet training or crate training for example we can look at the layout of your house/puppy areas and work out the best most effective plan of action.

3.) Ask as many questions as you like - Instead of sharing your training time with 6-8 other owners and puppies you can ask as many questions as you like. Also, if you or your pup are struggling with any particular training exercise or behaviour we can spend time working on it.

In addition to this we can visit your local park to practice recall or walk around your local neighbourhood to work on socialisation. 

​

Along with all basic obedience exercises we cover everything from Diet, Exercise, Vets, Crate Training, Toilet Training, Separation Anxiety, Recall and much more! After every session you will also receive full detailed training notes for you to refer to and full support via phone or email.

Our K9 Puppy Training sessions are £50.00 per hour.

​

​

We recommend 2-3 sessions for full puppy training. However many Owners often book one-off 1 hour sessions to assist them with particular training problems.

​

Depending on your pup's personality and temperament our Doggy Day Care service may be suitable

​

to assist with socialisation. Please ask for more details. 

​

*Puppies must have received their 2nd vaccination before attending day care. Proof of vaccination is required and to be shown to the staff before attending.
